Founded in 1860, Senoia’s rich history is displayed beautifully throughout much of the Downtown district. In fact, the majority of the buildings are Nationally Listed Historic Architecture. Coupled with the array of antique shops and family owned restaurants, Senoia’s downtown is as quaint as they come! In more recent times, Senoia has become famously known for the main filming location of AMC’s hit TV show “The Walking Dead”. Thus giving way to tours of the set and the notorious restaurant founded by two of the main stars, Nic & Norm. Outside of the historical Downtown, Senoia’s beautiful rolling countryside gives way to classic farm houses dating back to the 1840s. Senoia is the perfect place to permanently unwind!
